If you want the longer explanation:

In 2018, I became a mom to the most perfect baby boy (not biased at all). When my baby was four months old, my Dad died from cancer. Six weeks later, my oldest brother died from cancer as well. In a relatively short time period, we also lost three grandparents.

It was painful realizing my baby wouldn't know these amazing people – his Grandpa, Uncle and Great Grandpas. 

So, I created picture books about each one of those people. (I studied journalism and graphic design in college and previously made two picture books about my grandparents for fun.)

It obviously hasn't fixed the loss, but now my little boy can hear some of their stories. It is a little bit of therapy for me each time we sit and read one.

Since then, each time a friend has had a baby, or lost someone special, I've wanted to be able to give them that same gift. But each book took WAY too much time for it to be an option.

And so the quest for an easy, affordable family storybook began – and Little Lineage started.  It's become my passion to create a product that easily turns family stories into personalized children's books.
