1. Once you've made the purchase, you'll click "Download Now" on your confirmation page to download our Self-Illustrated Biography Guide. It includes:
- Writing prompts and examples to make writing the book simple.
- An illustration packet walking you through what to draw on each page.
- Directions on removing the background to get your illustrations ready for the book.
2. You'll also receive a link from CORJL.com with an editable PDF. You'll customize the words and insert the illustrations you created using your packet.
3. Submit it and we'll print and send you your beautiful hardback book!

Each book contains 10-18 drawings. You can make these as simple as you need, and have one or multiple illustrators throughout the book. A laptop or desktop is necessary for editing the document.
We recommend being comfortable with a computer for the self-illustrated version as it requires the ability to scan, crop and upload images. Our Company Produced version of the Bite Sized Biography is a better option for those less comfortable using a computer.

The Self-Illustrated bio book helps you write about everything from the birthplace, to what made him or her amazing to what he or she loved to do.
Not great at writing? Don't sweat it! Our prompts are flexible enough to fit any life situation, but specific enough to make it simple for inexperienced writers. You can write one sentence each page or five. It's your book!
We provide multiple examples with each prompt to spark your own ideas.

We've designed the book in a way to help even simple drawings work well (in fact, they're preferred.) So hop on pinterest, search how to draw your specific object, and we think you'll be just fine!
The book requires at least 10 drawings and up to 18. You can do all the drawings yourself, or have other family members who want to be a part of the book split them up.
If you're still not excited about drawing, check out our Bite Sized Biography (Do It Yourself). You won't have to draw a single thing.
How long will it take?

When you purchase the book, we'll email you writing prompts and the CORJL editable file. You can take as much time as you you need to create your book.
Once you've submitted your completed information, we'll compile it and have your physical book(s) to you within 2-3 weeks.
What does my investment cover?
What does my investment cover?
The cost covers one hardback customized picture book. The book is 26 full color pages.
Each additional book ordered at the same time gets 1% price break per book. (For example, 5 copies are 5% cheaper.)
Can I buy more copies later?
You bet! When your order is complete we'll send you a link you can use to purchase more copies in the future. Price breaks don't apply the same way for copies purchased later on.
